DARKEST HOUR To Film Live DVD

January 16, 2008

Washington D.C.-based metal band DARKEST HOUR will film a live DVD at Alley Katz in Richmond, Virginia on January 31 on the first night of the group's U.S. tour with CEPHALIC CARNAGE, EMMURE and WHITECHAPEL.

Commented the band: "The reason we choose to record a show in Richmond, VA is because simply, motherfuckers in VA are crazy! And we wanted to document how VA parties for the world."

DARKEST HOUR's DVD will be filmed by Richmond's Mark Restivo.

DARKEST HOUR's video for the song "Demon(s)" can be viewed below. The clip was shot in a junkyard in Bowie, Maryland and the first day of the shoot singer John Henry suffered a painful bike spill and separated his shoulder. Pumped up on Vicodin, he probably had far more fun on the second day of the shoot.

The song comes from the band's most recent album, "Deliver Us", which came out in July 2007. The long-awaited follow-up to 2005's "Undoing Ruin" was recorded at the Warehouse in Vancouver, Canada.
